Looking for Alaska

Contributed by Samantha, grade 12 -- June 2018

This is a playful yet an emotional novel about a teenage boy who craves a change. He finds himself enrolled in a boarding school called Culver Creek where he discovers a group of adventurous friends who get into nothing but mischief.

I rather enjoyed the themes of friendship and bonding during hard times. I would recommend this novel to peers aged 15-20 who have an interest in mystery, humor and romance.I found this book to be a light, enjoyable read and I’m sure that you will too.
